We have three ranges of IoT GPS location devices. These products transmit the data to our dashboard through which the obtained locations can be obtained and viewed. Currently the products we offer are designed for three scenarios: Bird monitoring, location of marine buoys and asset control.

Digitization and Industry 4.0 are pushing companies to collaborate by sharing sensitive data in order to optimize their business relationships. However, there is a well-founded reluctance when it comes to sharing the data since normally the interests of the collaborating companies are opposed. This causes suspicions regarding the veracity of the data shared by the other parties.
Current certificates do not verify that they are being used by the person or machine for which they were issued. It would be like a card without a photo.
Since 2018 we have been working on improving the necessary mechanisms to arrive at a completely traceable and secure digital identity of the data generated by electronic products. BRIoT is a product and service that allows you to create a non-transferable digital identity for electronic products. This first line of research focuses on logistics 4.0. Many goods need to be transported under certain temperature conditions to withstand long shipping processes. In general, there are many maritime shipments, in containers, whose merchandise has these requirements. The logistics of these containers usually assume stops at different ports and transshipments between different merchant ships. That is why, when faced with a reception of products that have not met these service qualities, there is uncertainty about which actor has breached the service quality contract. WimbiTek is working on a set of BRIoT devices that allow certifying the veracity of the cold chain, thus reliably debugging who is in custody of the product when incidents occur.
The second line of research focuses on the certified audit generated by industrial machines. Large industries tend to subcontract the maintenance operations of their facilities to the original suppliers of the used machines. The need to share data between customers and suppliers to optimize operating costs is increasingly being emphasized, seeking the maximum common benefit for both parties. However, in the case of companies with conflicting interests, it is difficult not to have suspicions about the data provided by the other party, which in case of being false could favor you. Thanks to BRIoT we can offer by default the guarantee of veracity of the telematic data offered by all the parties, establishing by default a guarantee of trust.

Currently there are no mechanisms within the industry to demonstrate the veracity of data at source and this presents a problem when offering remote monitoring services and blocks the adoption of 4.0 technologies in this sector.
The objective of this project is the design of an innovative method of validation of OT data in industrial machine tool environments, allowing to overcome the aforementioned blockages. For this, from WimbiTek we will use BRIoT technology.
The project fits into a more ambitious project in consortium with several of the companies in the Basque machine tool sector and is being developed under the auspices of the Strategic Hazitek 2020 call. Once the project is finished, WimbiTek hopes to be able to commercialize a new product oriented to the machine tool sector based on what has been developed within SMARTCON.
